tteeppoo started in 2019 with one borrowed garden, twelve kids and a very large box of paint. Today it's how Kampala parents find dozens of vetted activities after school, on weekends and through every holiday — but the rule hasn't changed: if the kids aren't buzzing at pick-up, we matched you to the wrong one.
Our founder Maria spent one school holiday watching her niece cycle between three cartoons and a long sigh. So she invited four neighbourhood kids over, raided the craft cupboard, and ran a one-week “camp” in the garden. By Friday there were twelve kids and a waiting list.
Seven years later, that garden grew into something bigger: a way to help every family find that same energy nearby. Real materials, real skills, real friendships — from vetted partners who remember that play is learning, just wearing a funnier hat.
We only list vetted partners: trained mentors, 1:8 ratios, secure venues. The fun is wild; the setup isn't.
Paint on elbows means brains at work. Our partners hand out aprons and never say "careful, that's clean".
Loud kids, quiet kids, kids who'd rather watch first — everyone finds their way in.
Eight hours of real things: clay, mud, code on robots, songs out loud. Phones live in the basket.
Tell us your kid's age and what they're into — we'll match you to vetted partners in minutes.
